The AmiCell® SMS Client connects to the AmiCell® SMS Server on a LAN and sends and receives SMS Messages via the AmiCell® SMS Server. The AmiCell® SMS Client is a Desktop Application and can be installed on multiple computers on a LAN to share the SMS functions via the AmiCell® SMS Server.

In order to use the AmiCell® SMS Client on your Computer, an AmiCell® SMS Server must be installed on your Network or you must have the communication means to connect to an AmiCell® SMS Server.

View the runtime SMS Requests, SMS Replies and Activity on the AmiCell® SMS Server.

SMS Control Centre
The SMS Control Centre provides the AmiCell SMS Client User with a User Friendly Interface to perform all the SMS Sending operations with just a few clicks.

Create a List of Target Recipients in a list, enter and taylor / compose an SMS Message to send to the Recipients and send the request to the SMS Manager on the AmiCell SMS Server for processing.

Additional Email Functionality can be set to SMS and Email the Messages. A "drag and drop" interface is provided to select an individual Recipient or a Group of recipients to conveniently drop the selection in a Target Recipient List.

Recipients in the Target List can be deleted if required. View and Manage SMS Replies from Recipients with one easy to use window.

The SMS Messages can even be personalised to reflect a Recipient Title, Name, Surname etc. and a from Footer can be appended to the end of the SMS Message.

Additional Saved Lists make it possible to refine the Recipients or Address Book with even more grouping functionality. A group of Recipients selected in the Target List can be conveniently saved in a Saved List for future use. The same interface provides for:

1. Schedules by Date and Time.
2. Select the Type of Schedule (Single or Multi Occurrence) or Update a Schedule.
3. Enter a SMS Message to Send to Recipients.
4. Add Recipients to a Target Recipient List.
5. Specify if Email Should be Included.
6. Activate the Schedule by sending the request to the SMS Manager.

This functionality can be used to schedule SMS Messages in advance to Recipients requiring information or messages on a regular (recurring) or once off basis at a certain date and time.

Historical Data/Delivery Reports
AmiCell® SMS Client accesses the historical data on the AmiCell® SMS Server of all SMS transactions processed by system user, periods (year, month), Cellular Phone Recipients, error logs, etc. All historical data can be exported with selection filters to a Spread Sheet for further analysis.

Recipient Address Book
The Recipient Address Book provides the AmiCell® SMS Client with an Address Book or List of persons with Cellular Phones (referred to as a Recipient) residing on the AmiCell SMS Server. The aim of the Address Book is to have a pre-loaded and maintainable database to easily send an SMS Message to a Group of people from the SMS Sending Modules (SMS Bulk Sender, SMS Scheduler).

Each system User using the AmiCell® SMS Server locally or from the AmiCell® SMS Client Software will have an Address Book or Recipient List. To ease the classification of Recipients, Recipients will be categorized by User and Groups. Recipients can then be added to logical groups. The same Recipient can belong to many groups and many System Users. To enhance the ability of the Standard Address Book, Saved Lists are also incorported to enable special Recipient Lists. In other words, Recipients stored in specific Groups can be selected and stored in a Saved List for fast selection. This adds another dimension to the already three tier Address Book.

The AmiCell® SMS Server has an internal Ban List. A Ban List is used to prevent System Users from sending SMS Messages to a Specific Recipient. In the event that a Recipient chooses not to receive SMS Messages from you, you can add the Cellular Number to the Ban List, and the AmiCell® SMS Server will never send another SMS to the number unless removed from the Ban List.

Recipients or Cell Phone Users can send an SMS at any time to your AmiCell® SMS Server. In such an event, the AmiCell® SMS Server will first determine if the SMS originates from a Recipient in the Address Book. If the Recipient exists, the AmiCell® SMS Server will log the SMS accordingly to the Recipient. Should the Recipient not reside in the Address Book, the SMS will be logged and recorded as an "Unknown" Recipient. These Unknown recipients can be analysed and added to the Address Book via an easy "drag and drop" interface.

User Billing
Billing schemes can be implemented and assigned to system users to track and monitor SMS Message costs. Pre-Paid Recharge options for User Billing is available. In other words, the AmiCell® SMS Server will account for each SMS passing through the SMS Manager at different cost to different System Users with contract or Pre-Paid settings (With this functionality, you can sell SMS Messages to third parties to generate income).

Data Import/Emport
Importing and Exporting from the AmiCell® SMS Client and Server makes it possible to interface Recipient data to 3rd Party Software databases. If you already have a large recipient list in another program, you can export the data and easily import it to AmiCell.
