 The AmiCell® SMS Gateway Client connects via the Internet to send and receive SMS messages via the AmiCell® SMS Access Point. The AmiCell® SMS Gateway Client is software that has the ability to receive SMS requests from external database systems, websites or customized software. It automatically manages SMS sending, SMS replies, delivery reports and error logs. All you require is Internet access. The AmiCell® SMS Gateway Client manages bi-directional communication to the AmiCell® SMS Access Point making your integration project a breeze!
 Multiple user account functionality makes it possible to manage more than one billing account and very easy to manage. The AmiCell® SMS Gateway Client utilizes the same integration technology as the AmiCell® SMS Server via a 3rd Party File Scanner and has Windows NT Services functionality to ensure robust 24/7 availability.
The AmiCell® SMS Gateway Client has two modes. When the File Scanner is stopped, it can be used as a normal bulk SMS sender. When started, the Gateway Client manages the integration automatically without human intervention including reply, delivery and error log retrieval. The AmiCell® SMS Gateway Client brings you the integration capabilities of the AmiCell® SMS Server and the simplicity and high volume / high-speed messaging of the AmiCell® SMS Internet Client, all in one. The AmiCell® SMS Gateway Client is the perfect high-speed messaging tool for developers requiring SMS integration with their systems. |

SMS Scheduler | SMS messages can be scheduled by date and time to recipients via the 3rd Party File Scanner. It also allows you to pre-format the SMS messages with various delivery options. Multiple SMS messages can be scheduled for later dates and times. |

Historical Data and Delivery Reports | The AmiCell® SMS Gateway Client stores detailed historical data of all SMS transactions processed, replies, recipients, error logs, usage statistics, etc. All historical data can be exported with selection filters to a spreadsheet. |
Address Book | The aim of the address book is to have a pre-loaded and maintainable database to easily send an SMS message to a group of people from the SMS Control Centre. To ease the classification of recipients, recipients will be categorized by folders and logical groups. Applying your own reference to the recipient allows for easy searching when composing an SMS message. The address book can be populated by adding one recipient at a time or mass importing contacts from a spreadsheet. Saved Lists are also incorporated to enable special recipient lists. In other words, you can save recipients often in your sending queue to a list for fast selection next time you want to compose an SMS. |
Data Importing and Exporting | Importing and exporting from the AmiCell® SMS Gateway Client makes it possible to interface recipient data to 3rd party software databases. If you already have a large recipient list in another program, you can export the data and easily import it to the address book. Delivery, replies, and error logs can also be exported to spreadsheet or text file format. |
General | The AmiCell® SMS Gateway Client has various modules to enable full system functionality including backup and diagnostics functions to maintain a 24/7 trouble free and stable SMS environment. |

 There are two types of Payment Options available. The Pre-Paid option allows you to purchase SMS bundles when you need to. | Step 1 | Download and complete the Service Agreement form or complete it online. You can choose from a pre-paid billing package or a subscription option. The subscription option allows you to pay via debit order or EFT, and is subject to a small monthly subscription fee. The pre-paid option allows you to purchase SMS credits when you need it. These credits will not expire. Every time you recharge with more SMS credits you will be charged a minimal recharge fee of R20 per 1000 SMS credits, but never exceeding R50. Recharging is done by requesting an amount via email, upon which you will then receive an invoice. |
