eDOC Delivery via the AmiCell SMS eDOC Desktop Console
The AmiCell SMS eDOC Console is a Management System providing you with all the functionality you require to Deliver, Manage and Archive all your important PDF Documents sent to your Recipient Smart Phones for proof of Delivery. The system comprises of three major modules that are displayed on the home screen when you log into the system for Sending, Managing and Archiving your Deliveries.

SEND
  • With a user friendly Interface, Select Single or Multiple Recipients from an Address Book to send PDF Documents for Delivery.
  • Assign the same PDF document or different PDF documents to the Recipients.
  • Compose a custom Personalised SMS Message for the Recipients with a few clicks.
  • Optional References for each Recipient can be added to the SMS Messages to Identify you as a valid sender.
  • The system will validate your Delivery Request and once verified, you can send the SMS Messages to the Recipients containing the location (URL) of the PDF document for download.
MANAGE
  • Once your SMS Delivery Requests were delivered via SMS to the Recipients, the tracking process begins.
  • A unique Tracking Reference for each Recipient is assigned for ease of reference with date and time information etc.
  • Use an easy to use Interface displaying all your eDOC Deliveries with detailed step by step actions performed for each recipient and PDF document.
  • The data will include SMS delivery confirmations (Unique Call ID) by the cellular network and if the document was previewed, downloaded, etc.
  • Once the recipient downloads the document, the recipient will automatically receive a confirmation SMS acknowledging the download, ensuring successful delivery.
  • Export your tracking info conveniently to a spreadsheet if required.
ARCHIVE
  • All eDOC delivery requests will be assigned completed once downloaded, or in the event that the recipient did not download the document, it will time-out after a set period and flagged not delivered.
  • The archive provides you with functionality to review all your eDOC Deliveries with date filters, etc.
  • Conveniently export your tracking data to a spreadsheet and view your delivery statistics.

The AmiCell SMS eDOC Console is designed to function on most industry standard computers. However, certain requirements must be met to ensure full functionality.

The minimum computer requirements for the AmiCell SMS eDOC Console are:

  • An SVGA Colour Monitor with 1600 x 900 Display Resolution with 24Bit RGB
  • At least 2GB RAM or System Memory
  • Hard Disk Drive
  • A constant Internet Connection with the File Transfer Protocol (FTP) Enabled

The AmiCell® SMS eDOC Console is developed and tested on the following operating system platforms:

  • Microsoft Windows 7 / 8 / 10 / 11 (32 bit and 64 bit)
  • Microsoft Windows 2008 / 2012 / 2019+ Server Families

Resources Required:

  • File Transfer Protocol (FTP)
  • Adobe Acrobat Reader (for previewing your documents if required)
  • Microsoft Excel (for exporting and Importing data to and from the AmiCell SMS eDOC database)

eDOC Delivery via Email Programs

Using an Email Program of your choice, send an Email in a specific format with a PDF document attachment to the AmiCell SMS eDOC Service. Upon receipt of a valid Email Delivery Request, the eDOC Service converts the email to SMS to a Recipient Mobile Device or Handset for Review and Download. The eDOC Service tracks these requests every step of the way and provides the User with Comprehensive Proof of Delivery Reports via Return Email and SMS Notifications on a daily basis.
